Colour: Opaque, almost inscrutable with purple hints.
Smell: The fruit is well expressed. Hints of black fruits, with spicy notes; pepper, roasted coffee dust and even mineral and balsamic tones are well distinguishable.
Taste: In the mouth, the wine is rich, balanced and with an enjoyable mouthfeel, sustained by a delightful taste of wood, leaving an aftertaste of roasted coffee beans, and finishing with full sweetness.
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°- 30° C by leaving the skins soaking for 25 days.
Refining: Matured for 14 months in French oak barriques, where malolaptic fermentation takes place. Refined for 6 months in bottles.
Serving temperature 18° - 20° C
Food matching: Red roasted and grilled meat, game and mature cheese, structured recipes. Perfect with beef steak.
