A big, full bodied red which, in spite of its intensity and concentration, is unexpectedly elegant. It reveals the typical scents of grapes harvested at high altitude, with its hints of aromatic herbs and wild flowers. On the palate it is dry, and displays considerable structure and power.

Vineyard Practices: Continuous selection of the grapes from the period of “iveraison” till the harvest, where the best grapes are selected for the “appassimento”. Period of “appassimento”: 3 months. The grapes are pressed in January and not later as the Amarone we want to obtain should not get too concentrated for the combination with important meat dishes
